'Mummy Retire Thee Kare' is a story of a family, which revolves on wife and husband and their two sons and daughter – in – laws and one married daughter who is married against their wishes has come to the house for delivery.
The renowned film and TV artist, Shrichand Makhija in Papa’s role has acted very well. After the retirement, as a father, he is least bothered for his house. A happy go lucky man, he feels that his friends and the club is the only place he should enjoy. His wife, (i.e. Mummy’s role played by Reshma Mulchandani), should be at his service, as soon as he comes back home.
Resham Mulchandani, as Mummy, who wants to teach her daughter - in - laws and make them perfect housewives, she, therefore, announces that she is going to retire and gives them one month’s time to take over the entire work of the house. Reshma has given full justice to the role of Mummy and acted superbly. Julie Tejwani and Renu Butani in daughter - in - law's role and Jai Hiro and Sunil Lekhwani in son’s role have not disappointed. Daughter's role played by Kajal Mulchandani as a pregnant lady needs appreciation. In real life too, Ms. Reshma and Kajal they are Mother and daughter. S.P.Menghani, a seasoned director has done a very good job as a director.
'Mummy Retire Thee Kare', a socio-comedy play, every sindhi must see this play.
