A Complete Collection of Adab Lateef (Free Verses) in Sindhi
Hugao is Sundri Uttamchandani’s first collection of free verse poetry, with a preface by eminent Sindhi poet Prabhu Wafa. Rich in imagery drawn from nature, love, memory, relationships and human emotions, the poems reveal her sensitive, reflective voice and progressive outlook. The collection also revisits Sindhi folk traditions and legendary heroines from a woman’s perspective, questioning conventional and patriarchal attitudes and giving expression to the inner world of women.
