Writers give us new perspectives through their creations. Smt. Sundri Uttamchandani was a pioneering Sindhi writer who wrote about women’s empowerment as early as 1955—decades before it became a widely discussed subject.
Her progressive outlook extended beyond literature. At the age of 60, she learned to use computers so she could stay connected with her daughter in Muscat and reduce the cost of phone calls. Her life reminds us that there is no age limit to learning something new. This online event was organised by Asha Chand.
