Naeen Sabhyata Jo Darshan (1985) is Sundri Uttamchandani’s travelogue based on her visit to the Soviet Union as a Soviet Land Nehru Peace Awardee. Through her travels across Tashkent, Samarkand and Moscow, she reflects on gender equality, social progress, literature and cultural life, while frequently drawing thoughtful parallels with her memories of Sindh.
