Daat Bani Laat

Daat Bani Laat - 2004 is Sundri Uttamchandani’s second collection of poetry, comprising 24 Ghazals, 24 Nazms and free verse, along with songs, quitas and traditional Sindhi bait. Rooted in classical poetic forms, the collection explores love, memories of Sindh, the pain of Partition and displacement, and concern for the future of Sindhi language and identity. The collection reflects both Sundri’s deep emotional attachment to her homeland and her commitment to preserving Sindhi culture and literature.
